My mom and niece McKenna headed back to CA this afternoon, but not before spending a little more quality time with Hunter & I, and of course all the farm critters.
McKenna and I tried to play a game of shirts vs. skins chicken chess (a game we conceptualized the night before), but the shirts team pooped all over the chess board … so the game was a bust.
We were lucky enough to have so pretty descent weather over the last week … not TOO hot, not TOO humid … so no complaints there.
We moved Kenna’s Krew (the 18 newborn chicks) into their barn brooder today as well, and I promised to keep her up to speed on their progress here on the FCL blog.
